Hello and Hello!

My November officially qualified as "super busy". My new book, A Year In The Secret Garden officially launched, Thanksgiving was delicious, we got a new kitten named Toby Stormageddon and my studio got painted and paneled. One of the most time consuming parts of redoing my office was moving about six hundred books out into the dining room. A good stack of those books are sketchbooks and journals from the last ten years.

As I read through the journals, I realized that through the years there have been three constant goals in my life, "A Happy Family", "A Warm Home" and to "Make Good Art". Everything else is just gravy. Sure there are other things that on my wish list, to travel more, learn new things and sell more books but those three things are my priorities.

I wish for you lots of peace and calm as the year winds down. May you have just enough friends and family to keep you company and just enough hustle and bustle to keep things interesting.
