Welcome to The Toymaker’s January Newsletter!

Winter is on my head,
but eternal spring is in my heart.
~ Victor Hugo

Perhaps I am a bear, or some hibernating animal underneath,
for the instinct to be half asleep all winter is so strong in me.
~ Anne Morrow Lindbergh

There's a Polar Bear in the Parlor!

Do you like polar bears? I now I do. Make your own bear in a box.

(Computer Tip – If the new toys are not showing up on your screen, try hitting the refresh button on the browser bar. If that doesn’t work try emptying your cache.)

The Infinity Card

Make some tiny boxes just for fun. You can cover the template with pretty scraps of paper to make your own creation.

Hello and hello!

I’m really and truly hoping to make more toys and send newsletters out in a more consistent manner this year. It’s the most pleasant resolution plucked from a pile of shoulds and coulds.

I hope that you set aside some time to do the things that really make you happy.

Sending thoughts of cool breezes to my friends in the Southern Hemisphere and thoughts of warm sunshine to my friends in the north.

Best thoughts,

We are three or four times blessed.

Winter is the time for comfort, for good food and warmth,
for the touch of a friendly hand and for a talk beside the fire:
it is the time for home. ~ Edith Sitwell

I moved my blog over to Wordpress. All kinds of art and doodlings...

Read it here....

The old Live Journal Link works too.

And do say hello! I’d love to hear from you!

Valentine's Day!

Valentine's is on the way!

Make a card for a friend.

Brew me a cup for a winter's night.
For the wind howls loud and the furies fight;
Spice it with love and stir it with care,
And I'll toast our bright eyes,
my sweetheart fair.
~ Minna Thomas Antrim

Donations cheerfully accepted to help provide free paper toys to children all over the world.

I do appreciate it!
