“Imagination is the beginning of creation. You imagine what you desire, you will what you imagine and at last you create what you will. ~ George Bernard Shaw

Hello and Hello!

So, how have you been? How's the new year treating you? Good I hope. Things here have been bumping and jumping along. I got the flu in January but after drinking vats of hot tea, lemon, ginger and honey I am back in the land of the living. The upside was that while I was sick I passed the time learning how to do repeat patterns for textiles and doodling.

I just seem to be scattered all over the place these days. Do you ever feel like that? "Juggling chainsaws" is what we call it, trying to keep everything in the air. Tomorrow I'm going to take an hour to write down my goals for the next couple of months. I'll let you know what I come up with.

Wishing you a creative and calm week.

Best thoughts,
Marilyn

PS Next month I'm hoping to do an online presentation on paper toymaking and children's books. If twenty people sign up, it's a go... check it out...

"Everybody has a secret world inside of them. All of the people of the world, I mean everybody. No matter how dull and boring they are on the outside, inside them they've all got unimaginable, magnificent, wonderful, stupid, amazing worlds. Not just one world. Hundreds of them. Thousands maybe.~ Neil Gaiman
