"What kind of paper do you recommend?"

I use card stock which is also called cover stock. I like Wausau Heavyweight Exact® Index Card Stock, 8 1/2" x 11", 90 Lb.,White. You can buy a pack of 250 Sheets for less than ten dollars at Office Depot.

"What kind of glue do you use?"

Plain old Elmer's school glue seems to work just fine for me. I've heard from people who like glue sticks or even scotch tape. The important thing is to have fun!

"The PDF files aren't downloading! What's going wrong?"

Check your documents folder. Sometimes computers download PDFs there instead of the desktop.

"Where do you get your ideas?"

Hmmm. All over the place! I draw every day and a lot of the toys come from doodles in my sketchbook. I like looking at old books in libraries.

"Can I print out your toys and sell them at the swapmeet/my store/as part of my gift baskets?"

Please don't. They are a gift and not to be sold for money.

"Can I print out a bunch of copies and give them to people in nursing homes, my class, my kid's birthday party, use them for Christmas Presents?"

Yes, please do! That is what they are there for! Make as many as you like. Nothing makes me happier than to hear that someone has made a toy to cheer up a friend.

"Do you take requests?"

I love getting suggestions of things that people would like to see like different holidays or animals that they are fond of... that's why there are lots of otters! I do not do toys using other people's characters like Winnie the Pooh or Harry Potter.

Click here to ask me another question...

I'd love to hear from you!
